Since commencing Yoga for Scoliosis with Gill and practising it daily - my daughter has less back pain. She is more mobile and her stamina is better. She is able to walk for longer periods. She is less self conscious, as there is less rotation of her shoulder blade.

.As someone who suffers from long-term back pain (both upper and lower), and keen to source other treatment methods other than medication, I was very excited when I was told about this specific yoga course. From the beginning the classes had a very relaxed atmosphere, as you would expect. The instructor, Gill, was very forthcoming to all in the class and she took specific care to identify everyone's concerns, injuries, limits and motivations to provide as much of a personal experience as possible. Each class progressively increased with intensity and skill, but Gill was always reassuring to myself and others, to take it at your own pace, as well as pointing out and suggesting adjustments when needed to improve stances and positioning. Continuing practice at home was not always easy, especially with a busy schedule, however, Gill enthusiastically encouraged everyone at each class the importance of doing so. When I found the time to perform the practices at home, I found it very beneficial for my back pain. I would remind everyone that there is no quick fix for back pain, the simple practices I learned in this course I have tried to incorporate into my everyday routine, whether it be 5 minutes or a full practice session with relaxation. The most rewarding aspects from the class which I now try to act on every day, are the breathing techniques and simply having more awareness of my body. If you are suffering from back pain, I would thoroughly recommend this course.

Pregnancy Yoga with Gill and Postnatal Baby yoga is AMAZING!

I first attended pregnancy yoga with Gill with my first baby in 2006.

I honestly believe that Gill's classes equipped me with the knowledge and tools to have a healthy and calm pregnancy and birth. So much so that I am back with Gill in 2016 with baby number FIVE!

Gill's pregnancy classes provided me with an opportunity to have some time out from my hectic day-to-day life, to focus on myself and connect with my unborn baby. The postures, relaxation techniques and breathing exercises ensured that I felt physically strong to carry and birth my babies. Knowledge on which techniques to employ for each stage of labour meant that I felt calm, confident and in control. This was put into action with Baby no5 who was 14 days late and weighed 10lb 4oz! Gills teaching helped me to have natural, calm and positive birthing experiences.

I also attended Postnatal and Baby yoga with my 5 children. My babies loved the classes - interacting with the other babies, singing and massage. The class also allowed me to make a gentle step towards reclaiming my pre-pregnancy body.

Attending Gill's pregnancy yoga classes have been a wonderful & positive experience. I truly believe they are the best preparation that you can have for pregnancy, birth & motherhood. I have benefited from the classes so much so that I am back again in preparation for baby number 3!

In particular my first delivery was not without complications. However with my golden thread & coffee pot breathing methods & the relaxation practices that I had gained from Gill's classes I was able to have an extremely positive experience.

Gill's pregnancy yoga classes provided me with invaluable tools & techniques that guided me through my pregnancies & subsequent deliveries. They also provided me with the confidence & self-belief that I needed. Pregnancy yoga ensures that you do invest that precious time with your unborn baby. In particular it gives you the opportunity to completely focus on yourself & your baby for at least an hour & a half each week. This is particularly important when it comes to baby number 2 or 3! It is a total escapism from your busy hectic day-to-day life. I always come away from the class feeling completely energised & full of calmness & excitement over my impending arrival.

There is also the great social side to the classes. The classes are great fun. It is lovely to have the opportunity to meet other ladies going through a similar journey as yourself & share experiences, worries or pregnancy niggles! Gill always has a tried & tested solution for every possible compliant!

I also attended Gill's post natal & baby yoga classes. These classes are fantastic. A great way to ease your body back into to gentle exercise routine. More importantly my babies really enjoyed them too. It is a wonderful opportunity for the babies to interact, they recognise the songs & love the message! Four years on, our baby yoga songs are still an important part of our bedtime routine. I learnt some great tools for baby calming & relaxation that really helped during times of teething. Songs & massage also helped to ensure a good nights' sleep too!

Gill also encourages all the mums & babies to meet up for lunch after the class & this is where I was fortunate to make some wonderful friends. Four years on we are still in touch & meeting up on a regular basis!

Gill's classes have been such an important part of my journey into motherhood.

'Ante natal yoga was of great benefit throughout all of my 3 pregnancies. I felt relaxed and prepared for the birth and the breathing techniques were invaluable to aid sleep especially in the later months.

My labour with my first child was very long and difficult and the breathing techniques helped greatly, although my son had to be delivered by emergency Caeasarian. My other 2 children were delivered by planned Caeasarians and the golden thread breathing was invaluable as it helped me stay calm before and during surgery and also enabled me to remain still while the doctor inserted the spinal needle. I am also convinced that my babies were more chilled out as a result of ante natal yoga!

Baby yoga has been a wonderful experience and a special time for me to bond with my babies. I have brought all 3 of my children to baby yoga classes and I try to practice with them everyday. I find the songs and routines really useful as they help both me and my baby relax espcially if the baby is fretful. My children recognise all the songs and want to join in with the baby and I! The class is also a great way to meet other mums. The babies are so tired they usually sleep all afternoon which gives the mums a chance to catch up over lunch!

I reccommend Gill's ante natal and baby yoga to all my friends and I have yet to find anyone that has not enjoyed the experience.'

'I have attended antenatal yoga with Gill when pregnant with each of my 3 children. I found the breathing, the stretching and the relaxation invaluable. Another bonus is the preparation for birth. We learnt different labouring positions as well golden thread breathing which from all the practice at classes, became second nature to me during labour, insomnia and even the painful early days of breastfeeding!
I thoroughly enjoyed my weekly postnatal yoga classes. Especially with more than one baby in the house it offers quality time with your baby. The stretching exercises are great for the stiffness and tension that all the feeding, lifting and changing causes.
I also attended Gill's birth preparation workshop with my husband, which we both enjoyed. It gave my husband some tips for how to help out during labour as well as breathing techniques that help him get back to sleep when woken by a little one at night!

Gill is a great teacher and very passionate about what she does. She has natural methods for curing all sorts of aches pains and niggles and I have certainly learnt a great deal from all her classes. Another huge reward is that I made very close friends at my first antenatal yoga classes with Gill and it has been fantastic to share the journey of parenthood with these other mums.
All in all yoga with Gill has played a big part in my life in the last 4 1/2 years, the benefits are many and I would thoroughly recommend all the classes to any mum-to-be or new mum.

'I began antenatal yoga with Gill at 16 weeks and ended at 38 weeks. I loved going on a Monday night because, amidst the rush of the rest of life, I was able to focus on the pregnancy and the life growing inside of me. The breathing techniques helped me the most, and the stretches made the aches and pains of pregnancy more tolerable. When my baby turned breech, Gill taught me maneuvers to try to turn the baby, and I found her to be a great support up until the week before the delivery. I can still hear Gill's voice leading us through the relaxation at the end of the class, and it helps to calm me even now. Meeting other mums-to-be and sharing the process was also really important.

As soon as I could, I signed up for baby yoga, and remained in it until my daughter was 6 months. I knew that I liked Gill's classes, but I didn't know my baby would as well! It was great for her socialization, and she and all the other babies seem to love the songs and rhymes combined with stretches and exercises. It was also a wonderful way for us mums to meet each other and compare notes on how things were going with our new babies. The mums get their stretch and exercise time as well, and each class ends with a lovely relaxation for both mum and baby. Both classes have been great, and I highly recommend them. I'm sorry to see them come to an end!'

'Ross and I started Baby Massage with Gill when he was only 6 weeks old. I found it great at settling him in the early days which really helped with my confidence as well. I also learnt some great techniques for dealing with all the little tummy and digestive problems babies under 3 months seem to suffer from. It was also great to meet other new Mums. We still do the massage at home and now Ross is older it has become more of a fun activity that he really enjoys. The facial massage has proved invaluable as well in helping to get him over to sleep when he goes down in his cot at night. Baby massage has proved to be a great experience for both me and Ross!'
'I attended the baby massage classes when James was about three months old which I thought was great. This class showed me how to instantly relax James with massage techniques where he would sleep for 5-6 hours after each class. This in itself was great as James would usually only sleep for 30-45 mins at a time.

I started baby yoga with my son James when he was almost six weeks old and we have completed 3 eight week baby yoga courses. I benefited from the range of post natal exercises which Gill showed and also the opportunity to meet other new mums. The classes have been great for James as he really enjoyed the baby yoga and many of the nursery rhymes / songs used throughout the classes. In addition it gave James the opportunity to interact with other babies and most importantly he was always very relaxed for a good sleep by the end of the class!!. Gill also show mums walks / drops to relax a baby which I say are guaranteed to work.'

'I was fortunate enough to have a friend persuade me that I needed yoga in my life. My first class with Gill was over 5 years ago and I haven't looked back. Gill's friendly and sparkling personality makes yoga accessible to all. Her attention to detail in postures for each individual means that group classes have an almost one-to-one approach. This holistic approach to yoga ensures that a wide range of abilities can be catered for in one class situation - perfect if you're a beginner or coming back to yoga after an injury or an absence.

Each Wednesday class is my own self-indulgence and results in the best night's sleep of the week for me. All of this is set against an excellent soundtrack chosen by Gill which varies every week providing a focus to quieten the mind and at times great entertainment. I've found that yoga with Gill has provided me with the ideal antidote to all that modern life throws my way. 'Flexibility, strength, fun, calming, energising........ these would be just a few key words that come to mind when I think of Gills yoga classes.
I have been doing yoga with Gill for almost 7 years, from the earlier days of hatha yoga through to the addition of yoga beats and music.
Gill is a great teacher who is hugely passionate about yoga and this is evident in the way that she teaches and accommodates the individual needs of her students. She is easy to understand and is extremely well practised in her own right. Gill has a vast knowledge of yoga and anything associated with it.
Her classes are a great way of keeping in shape, relaxing, revitalising yourself and understanding your body both physically and emotionally.
She is able to strike a balance between fun and composed and can even determine how her students are feeling at the start of a class.
Gill is always interested in her students and is a pleasure to be with. I enjoy all of her classes and each time leave them feeling great.
I gain so many benefits out of Gills classes that I cannot recommend her highly enough. She truly is a yoga star!'
